Re: Marshmallow: NEW-SOURCES -> BOX64_v160703

The fact that a commit to official geekbox sources on github to share the improvements with all geekbox users has not been forthcoming is a sign that Geekbox is essentially a dead project. This is a shame because it had a lot of promise and the devs that have worked on it have put a lot of effort in...

Re: Marshmallow: NEW-SOURCES -> BOX64_v160703

Just loaded the latest box version and updated SuperSU. Flashing went well and without issues. Once the initial boot is done, subsequent boot times are very low. UI is nice and fast and very responsive. All the settings that I went into worked and it was nice to see the first MM ROM that I have yet ...

Re: Marshmallow: NEW-SOURCES -> BOX64_v160703

Thanks for the new update.

I'll test it a little later.

One question about partitioning.

Is it possible yet to attain a single unified partition?

That's an independent users ROM.

Geekbox stated that they would have one of their own prepared.

Re: Marshmallow: NEW-SOURCES -> BOX64_v160615 + TABLET64_v16

I am aware that Rockchip are developing their own custom Kodi because they refuse to follow the standard API. I did test out an early version of it on another box a couple of weeks ago and it was terrible. Rockchip are always the main stumbling block to the success of their own SOC's but with more a...

Re: KODI sound problems...

This support team is a joke...... Still no answer. Guess I'll just fix my new device my self. Thanks for nothing! Sorry for that: 1. At first we wanna build Kodi16 on Android M, and we found that there were many compatible issues on Android M. 2. We've built Kodi16 on Android L(Just thought that fo...

Re: Marshmallow: NEW-SOURCES -> BOX64_v160615 + TABLET64_v16

Just gave this ROM a whirl with the latest version Box64. Feedback as follows: Installation was smooth and trouble free. Noticed that on first boot that there is no power button on the home screen. Downloaded the Petrus Reboot App from the Play store which works. Note that if you have a cable connec...

Re: ROM: Android L V160612

Gave this firmware a whirl and tested the RKMC with HDMI bitstream. If Adjust display refresh rate is set to on then any video with Dolby 5.1 will have major video/audio sync issues. Dolby 5.1 and DTS is a bit hit and miss. With 5.1, on a first play of a file there is often hisses and crackles but ...
